BUSAN CON 2026

Join us in Busan for a weekend of adventure! Busan Con 2026 is a TTRPG convention hosted by The Wandering Tavern. We are welcoming to players of all experience levels. Whether it’s your first time at the table or you’ve been playing for decades, this is the perfect chance to connect with the TTRPG community from all over Korea.

 

As this the convention falls on Buddha’s Birthday weekend, there will be plenty to see and do around the city between sessions, making it the perfect time for a trip to Busan! If you’re traveling from out of town, please book your accommodations and KTX/bus tickets as soon as possible! Don't wait until the last minute, or you might find yourself stuck without transport (or a bed).

TTRPGs: Choose your adventure! Our volunteer GMs are running games across a fantastic array of genres, including modern horror, silly fantasy, space opera, conspiracy, mecha, and more. With so many systems to explore, there’s truly something for every wanderer.

 

Workshops: From improving your character building skills to learning how to run solo adventures, we have a seat for you! Our schedule includes a miniature painting hosted by Adam of SilverFox Studios!

 

Board Games: Discover a new favorite! Tommy will be hosting sessions for Villainous and Betrayal at Baldur's Gate. Join Peter for a game of Hero Quest, or you can explore the wide selection of games Cafe With already has on offer.

Venues

All venues are within a four-minute walk of one another and no more than five minutes from Kyungsung Uni./Pukyong National Uni. Station (경성대부경대역).

 

Since we're in the middle of a university district, you’ll find plenty of cheap eats nearby. There are tons of food options, including several vegan-friendly spots, so you won't go hungry between sessions!

 

Gwangan Station (광안역) is just three short stops away on the green line. The beach truly is the perfect place to celebrate your party's triumphs...or mourn the loss of an ill-fated character. 

Cafe With / 카페위드

Cafe With is where most of our TTRPGs will be hosted.  It’s a great spot with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and we’ve even secured some of their private rooms for those sessions where you really need to focus (or just want to yell at dice in peace).

 

Venue Policy: Please support the cafe! There is a one-drink requirement per session.

Our Sunday evening sessions will take place at LZONE, a language learning institution and multicultural community center that brings together locals mastering foreign languages and international residents learning Korean. They offer a diverse range of programming, including Korean integration programs, a volunteering program, small group conversation practice, and 1:1 conversation sessions. Space Forest / 공간숲

Space Forest will be the dedicated base for our workshops, including a miniature painting workshop hosted by Adam from Silverfox Studios. It’s the ideal spot to learn a new skill or refuel between games.
