On the last night of summer before starting high school, a group of kids sets out to make the most of their final hours before everything changes. A familiar, nostalgic evening quickly turns strange when the town loses power and the usual rhythms of the night begin to slip. ⚠️ Content Warnings: Isolation, Memory Gaps, Horror, Abandonment, Darkness, maybe more

Blood Starved Soil

Host: Michael | System: D&D 5E | Genre: High Fantasy

Players: 3-5 | Experience Level: New Players | Character Level: 3

Long ago Vorag Bloodtooth was put to rest in the grand temple of Murn with a stake through his heart. But vampires do not rest forever and now the blood starved soil nurtures evil seeds! Two experienced adventurers went missing after being sent to investigate strange plant monsters emerging from the deep wood. You will form part of the rescue team.

⚠️ Content Warnings: Spooky Plant Monsters, Possessed NPC's.

GM Notes:

"I ran this two years ago as part of a set of introductory games. It went so well then that I decided to give it another go. Designed for newer players! I can provide pre-generated characters on request." - Michael

Carnival Of Chaos

Host: Anna | System: Daggerheart | Genre: Contemporary Fantasy

Players: 3-5 | Experience Level: All Players Welcome

Yesterday, the carnival was normal. But today… the rides have suddenly developed personalities. The Ferris wheel won’t stop spinning because it’s having the best day of its life, the haunted house ghosts are negotiating wages, and the carousel horses have escaped into town. Something magical clearly went wrong and the staff need help before the carnival becomes permanently sentient. A chaotic and comedic contemporary fantasy one-shot focused on improv, weird problems, and solving magical nonsense.

⚠️ Content Warnings: Clowns, carnival themes, mild vulgar language.

GM Notes:

"This is my first time running Daggerheart, so we will learn and play together. This will be a very light hearted, role play focused, rule of cool style table. "In da clerb, we all fam" sort of vibes. Come prepared.

Additionally, character creation is half-half pre-gen and player creation. I will come with bare bones character sheets with class/species and stats generated, but players will fill in details (name, pronouns, backstory, relationships, etc.)." - Anna

Coruscant Grand Ball

Host: Dennis | System: Star Wars D6 (West End Games)

Genre: Space Opera | Players: 2-6 | Experience Level: All Players Welcome

Forget about the Rebellion. You and your companions are scoundrels, drifters, and mercs in the Outer Rim. Your occasional employer Bumpomo the Hutt has a special mission for you. You're to escort his daughter, Marjon, to Coruscant to take part in her first High Society ball. Getting a Hutt Princess to the capital of the Empire won't be easy. Making sure she has a good time at the ball may be even harder!

⚠️ Content Warnings: Cinematic violence, alien courting rituals, various ne'r-do-well characters.

GM Notes:

"WEG d6 Star Wars is a very simple die pool system that uses only six-sided dice. You'll want to have at least six of them for your rolls. Character death is a possibility, but not likely. Knowledge of the Star Wars universe is not necessary. If you've got passing familiarity, you'll do fine." - Dennis

Doom Of The Savage Kings

Host: Michael | System: Dungeon Crawl Classic

Genre: Sword and Sorcery Fantasy

Players: 3-5 |  Experience Level: All Players Welcome

High above the windswept moors and darksome woods, the village of Hirot is under siege. Each night, as the sun sinks beneath the western mountains and the candles burn low, a devil-beast stalks the village streets, unleashing its savage fury on the living. From warlord to pauper, crone to child, no one is safe. Defeating the immortal hound will require more than mere blades or even spells. To slay the beast, you must delve into the mysteries of ancient and savage kings.

⚠️ Content Warnings: High risk of character death, snakes, light body horror.

GM Notes:

"This is a Dungeon Crawl Classic Adventure. Expect a lower power level, an old school feel and lots of random tables to to roll on. This system is one that has excited me for years due to lots of neat mechanics like random spell tables, alternative dice, (Roll a D24 please!) and a focus on fun over optimization.  It's my first time running this, but I promise to make it a great experience!"

- Michael

Enemy Below, Enemy Within

Host: Shane | System: Despair | Genres: Warhammer 40,000. Sci-fi, horror, thriller | Players: 3-5 |  Experience Level: All Players Welcome

These young men will be transformed into super soldiers of the stars as you live your mortal life on this quiet planet. Things have been worse lately, communications shoddier than normal, no news, like the stars are under shadow. Something isn’t coming. Something is here.

⚠️ Content Warnings: Gore, futility, fascism.

GM Notes:

"This is a playtest of the Despair system. A system of my own design. Your feedback is welcome. Knowledge of the Warhammer universe is not required but it helps." - Shane

Escape From Facility 826

Host: Dennis | System: Missions & Mayhem

Genre: Modern Conspiracy/Sci Fi

Players: 3-6 |  Experience Level: All Players Welcome

Some of you have been locked up for months. Some for years. Some your whole life. The reason? No crime other than being born with psychic powers. You've been tested, prodded, poked, injected, and given more psych evals than you care to count. But just one minute ago, the restraining collars on your necks all shut off at the same time. If you're ever going to escape this place, this is your best shot. Can you and your fellow prisoners make it out of Facility 826?

⚠️ Content Warnings: Medical/scientific human experimentation, human vs human conflict.

GM Notes:

"Missions & Mayhem is an OSR game that I've written and am play testing. So far, my group thinks it's a lot of fun. It's a simplification of the old d20 Modern game (from 2001). There are a lot of 2d4, 2d6, or 2d8 rolls, so having two full sets of dice would be helpful. I'll send the play test documents and character sheets to the players before the Con starts so they can look over the rules. They aren't long." - Dennis

⚠️ Content Warnings: Horror, mental illness, gore, small spaces.

GM Notes:

"This is a horror game and is not appropriate for young players and may contain content inappropriate for some people. The film The Evil Dead may be a good bench marker to determine if this game is right for you. No prior knowledge or experience is needed to play, however if you are a returning player to my table that would like to use your character from a previous adventure - provided they survived - this can be arranged! " - Richard

Goblin Quest

Host: Matt | System: Goblin Quest | Genre: Silly fantasy

Players: 2-6 |  Experience Level: All Players Welcome

It's a dismally dreadful day in the Great Battle Camp. The perfect sort of day... for a QUEST! Play a clutch of goblins, the lowest rung of the lowest rung of the Dark Lord's forces, whose lives are nasty, brutish, and short, but whose thirst for glory is unquenchable. A cooperative storytelling game where the players decide the quest, plan the steps, and attempt to execute it for GUTS and GLORY. Death is frequent, but not an obstacle to victory (mostly). Silly goblin voices required.

⚠️ Content Warnings: Due to the collaborative nature of the game, Lines & Veils will be established ahead of character creation. Expect Death, Dismemberment, Violence, & Vocal Strain.

GM Notes:

"This game is designed to be playable with or without a game master. A lot can and will go off the rails, so it is asked that you approach this game with a spirit of fun and whimsy." - Matt

Harrison Armory Gig

Host: Bishop | System: Lancer | Genres: Sci-fi, mecha, war

Players: 3-4 |  Experience Level: All Players Welcome

You are a Lancer, a capable mech pilot who’s got IT, you are known by many, and that’s why Harrison Armory (HA) has come to you. You’re hired to locate and collect a black box that was stolen from one of their corvettes on Engiri. What it contains is unknown but that’s not the question right now. The question is how does this job benefit you? You decide.

⚠️ Content Warnings: War, body-horror, potential gore.

GM Notes:

"Lancer is a game that heavily leans on mech combat, there will be roleplaying but it is less of a focus compared to combat. Since there many systems within it, I will premake characters and mechs so there can be smooth operations and gameplay. Also since it’s mechs, rule of cool is always encouraged!" - Bishop

Honey Heist:

Welcome To Honeycon

Host: Anna | System: Honey Heist 2017

Genres: Campy, Shenanigan Heavy Hijinks

Players: 5-6 |  Experience Level: All Players Welcome

It's HoneyCon 2026! The bees are buzzing and the honey is honey-ing. But you... you're a bear. And that honey... it's looking awful sweet. It would be a real shame if some suspiciously well-organized bears Ocean’s Elevened this convention and stole all their sweet sweet proboscis nectar. The plan is set, and it requires the ULTIMATE precision. What could possibly go wrong?!

⚠️ Content Warnings: Mild Bear Related Gore, Adult Language.

GM Notes: "HoneyHeist is a system that runs almost entirely on Role Play, with very few rules mechanics. If Role Play is not something you are comfortable and confident with, this probably isn't the best game for you. We are bears, and we are heisting, so expect the type of language and themes you would get from a gaggle of bear criminals." -Anna

Life Is Random

Host: Gordo | System: QAGS | Genres: Unknown

Players: 2-5 |  Experience Level: All Players Welcome

The game con classic! Welcome to Life is Random where the entire game will be made up on the spot! We're rolling tables for the plot, tables for the setting, tables for tables on tables! This game will be using the QAGS, Quick Ass Gaming System, to make all of this randomness possible. What kind of story will we get? I have no idea!

⚠️ Content Warnings: Be prepared for anything.

GM Notes: "I literally will have no idea what the game, setting, genre, or anything else will be until we roll for it at the table. This will trend toward the humorous but there's no real way to tell. Depending on everyone's comfort level we will keep it somewhere between rated PG-13 to R."

-Shane

⚠️ Content Warnings: Extreme gore, violence, and fantasy religious themes, human sacrifice.

GM Notes:

This is a Gothic horror style game in 5E, so please pay attention to the warnings! I understand that some people get sensitive about religious topics that make them uncomfortable because of real life analogues.

I'm a "spirit of the rules" more than a Rules As Written (RAW) DM.

Mörk Borg Rotblack Sludge:
The Shadow King's Lost Heir

Host: Keith | System: Mörk Borg | Genre: Apocalyptic Fantasy

Players: 3-5 |  Experience Level: All Players Welcome

You face execution for heretical theft but a masked Seer - a Courtier of the Shadow King - offered you a chance at life. Rescue the King's one true heir before he is forced to hand his crown to his imbecile brother. Get him back discreetly and wealth, life and freedom will be yours!

⚠️ Content Warnings: This is a very dark fantasy setting where the world could come to an end at any minute, and no-one expects to be around for much longer. As such there are appropriately dark themes present in the game, such as a pervading sense of despair and helplessness, corruption, death, torture, mental health struggles, genocide etc :).

GM Notes:

"This game has an early-level Dark Souls vibe to it, where "YOU DIED" can signal the end of your game at any moment. Despite that inherent fragility at the centre of the game, the character creation process results in some hilariously brilliant roleplaying opportunities. If you fancy the challenge of struggling to survive in such an oppressively brutal environment then this game is for you!" - Keith

GM Notes:

This is my first time running this game.
